Tamil Pudhalvan Scheme 2024
The chief minister of tamil nadu Mr. MK Stalin has introduced the Pudhalvan scheme on 31th July in which the students who are studying in 6th to 12th will be financially aided so that after 8th they will not stop their study due to poverty and financial need. Under the scheme, the government will provide INR 1000 monthly to the students so that they will not be dependent on their parents income and they will have financial freedom to continue their studies.
Under the scheme the government is estimated that more than 3 lakh students in the state will be benefited, also the budget of Rupees 360 Crore has been implemented for the scheme.

Step 1 : Visit the official website of the UMIS-University Management and load to the homepage.
Step 2: On page a username and password box will appear applicant must enter his username and password and if applicant visits first time on portal he should click on first time visit student to create his username and password
Step 3: Applicants should note that the username is the EMIS/UMIS number and first time visiting students have also visited a respected institute of nodal officers to get an EMIS/ UMIS number.
Step 4: After getting successfully EMIS number applicant should visit the website to change his default password
Step 5: After login to the portal students have submit an online application form including the required documents as mention
Step 6: After successfully submitting the application, the applicant should visit the portal to check the status of application and payment status.
